History
Located in the outskirts of Fremont, Ohio (between Toledo and Cleveland), Fremont Cutting Dies, Inc. has been manufacturing Steel Rule Dies for over 30 years.
On February 29, 2008, Greg Abdoo Owner of Fremont Cutting Dies and Randy Wammes purchased the assets of the Louis G. Freeman Company's Sharp Edge Tooling Division and formed Fremont Machining & Fabrication, LLC. Enabling "Fremont" to better service the cutting die industry.
This marriage makes it possible for "Fremont" to manufacture; Steel Rule Dies, Forged Dies, Pre-Hard / Pre-Sharp Dies, Wire EDM Dies, ASTM / Specimen / Test Dies, Match-Metal Dies and General Machining and Fabrication with Complete In-House Design.
Quality ControlQuality is something that Fremont takes very seriously. We have our own strict internal quality guidelines. All dies are checked for quality workmanship and accuracy prior to leaving our factory.
EquipmentFremont utilized everything from manual to fully automated equipment in their process'. A quick sampling of their equipment includes various; VMC's, Bridgeports, CNC Lathe, Manual Lathe, Wire EDM, Surface Grinders, Blanchard Grinder, CNC Rule Processor, Manual Bending Equipment, Hydraulic Bending Equipment and Mig / Tig Welding Stations.
